Fall Senses
Representing fall in photos was complicated because I felt that a lot of the senses and the photos I took could easily overlap as different senses/ideas. To me, fall is hearing the crisp leaves crunch beneath my feet as the wind blows against the trees. Looking at the change of seasons as the leaves turn from green to yellow. The bundle of sweaters and scarfs wrapped around you. The beginning of harvest season with new and fresh food coming. The smell of coffee surrounds your community as people resume their typical routine. Autumn is the feeling of the weather getting more and more cold, as the breeze rushes by your face. Fall is watching the leaves fall around you. The movement of fire as you sit by the fireplace to stay warm.
A Photographic RepresentationSometimes it can be hard to think about things that represent yourself. For me, there are only a few things that stand out which makes me an unique person, but I was able to find some photos that really attracted or caught my eye. Overall, the collage really represents things I love, such as how much I love exploring and going out on adventures.
The top column represents my love for the outdoors and nature, and I chose these photos because each of they all have good and interesting composition which draws the eye to an interest point. These images also show different perspectives and angles which also compliments the composition. To me, all the photos give an illusion where you are embarked into the images, also they make you feel as if you are experiencing what is happening in the photo. Each photo has a collective colour palette which helps contribute to the mood of the photo. |
