What Fall Means to Me
Autumn is many things to me; it may not be my favourite season but there are many wonderful (and not as wonderful) things about it. Fall is watching puddles pool around your feet as the rain dives from the sky with clouds blanketing the atmosphere. Hearing the crisp leaves crunch beneath your feet as the wind blows against the trees. Listening to kids play and yell across the playgrounds as the schools start. The taste of fresh made cookies as the tea is brewing. The smell of coffee surrounds your community as people resume their typical routine. Autumn is the feeling of the weather getting more and more cold, as the breeze rushes by your face. The touch of the cold rain hitting against your clothes as you walk, soaking you and your clothes as you try to find shelter. It’s the feeling of warm sweaters and blankets wrapped around to protect you from the cold. Fall is running around in rubber boots jumping into puddles as the leaves fall around you.
